Netfirms - Overbilled, no resolution

Details
I prepaid for all my websites at one time. They kept billing me for three of them for years afterwards. I called customer service--zero help (per normal). I wrote a letter to corporate detailing the issue and asking for them to resolve. No response in 3 years since.... Very poor customer service. All they had to do was listen to a recording of the phone order and they would have immediately seen their error. They just chose to ignore the facts and collect the money...

I have spent 4 months with absolutely no resolution to a refund they owe me. They only give you email access to their billing escalations department so they can just basically keep you money. No one really knows what is going on because they send emails that make no sense and clearly do not keep chronological notes. I am planning to report this company to the FTC and BBB not because of $167.00 but because they are totally lacking customer service, stealing our money with this "only email" service that doesn't respond. Even after receiving an email saying my refund will process, no refund credited and now no answers to email. This company needs to be investigated. Proof: Hello Sheila, I can really understand your concern regarding this matter. I have refunded full full amount of $167.40 for your new credit card ending '1814'. It generally takes seven to ten business days for your bank to reflect the amount to your account. Also, I have scheduled your account for cancellation after two weeks that is on December 29, 2018 as per your request. The account will be cancelled automatically on the scheduled date If you have any further questions, please contact us thrugh email or chat with us at https://www.netfirms.com/chat/ .
